About the event
Join the Flossmoor Art Council for Floss-Flow, a powerful two-night celebration of poetry, creativity, and community in the heart of Downtown Flossmoor. Both evenings will feature a special appearance by Grammy-nominated spoken word artist Theresa the S.O.N.G.B.I.R.D., whose dynamic performances have captivated audiences across the country.
Night 1 – Teen Night | Thursday, March 19
Our opening night shines a spotlight on the next generation of voices. Local high school students will participate in an exclusive poetry workshop with Theresa the S.O.N.G.B.I.R.D. and then take the stage to perform their original pieces. Come support these talented young poets as they share their stories and creativity.
Night 2 – Community Night | Friday, March 20
The second night invites adult poets from across the area to step up to the mic and share their work in an evening of expression, connection, and inspiration.
